Maker Crush: Kate of Fox’s Lane

Maker Crush: Kate of Fox's Lane

I’m pretty sure Kate — aka @foxslane — first came to my attention through the old #fringeandfriendsknitalong feed, where she posted many fantastic shots of her Amanda cardigan in progress. Then came her FO photo — and not only was the finished sweater a beauty, but I was enamored with how she paired it with a little embroidered cotton dress, South American-style. Since then, her Instagram feed has become one of my all-time favorites (and I’m obviously far from alone). Kate and her husband are organic farmers in Australia, where they have three beautiful girls and the most charming roadside produce stand I’ve ever seen. In addition to being a brilliant knitter, Kate crochets, gardens, writes, takes incredible photos … and so much more. And her Instagram feed and her blog, Fox’s Lane, are always bubbling over with color and creativity and the most palpable changing of the seasons. If you’re not already following one or the other, rectify that right away!
