Seeing as how I don’t have the attention span for proper felting and am not exactly invested in this hat, I tossed it in the washing machine with a load of colors the other night and left it to chance. When my adoring husband got home last night, I put it on and said, “What do you think — better?” He looked at me skeptically and replied, “Hmmm, I don’t know. Something about it — the way your hair is hanging out of it? — is reminding me of Geronimo.”
.
I’m hoping to get some consequential knitting done this weekend. As always, I’d love to know what you’re up to!
I can see the resemblance! Luckily you can get away with a lot in Berkeley.
I swear to god that photo was taken before I googled him. But now I’m thinking it might be fun to do a little duplicate-stitch pattern on the hat (it’s pretty dreary anyway) — little squares like ol’ Geronimo’s bandana.
Hahahahaha!!!! I love it. That’s such a cute picture of you, Karen. And the hat looks great!
That husband of yours–pretty astute! You’re a lot more fetching than Mr. G.
