Apologies for the earworm, but I’m wearing a top today that I made yesterday! (And it really does make me want to do a little dance-leap like Jennifer Beals.) It’s from the most recent pattern I bought — a little Cynthia Rowley for Simplicity number that I saw on Make Something. I honestly can’t remember the last time I sewed a garment for myself, working from a pattern, and now I can’t figure out why I ever stopped. This pattern is fantastic, super easy, and the shirt is adorable. My fabric is a sort of black-and-white crosshatch print that I got at A Verb for Keeping Warm. I’ll try to get a picture of it soon.

YAY! Bravo Karen! You’re gonna make me finish that top I cut out 8 months ago that’s been laying on the sewing table ever since. Your enthusiasm is infectious :)
