What a fabulous and entertaining list! Thank you so much!!
Speaker of sweaters on screen, I want to knit the gorgeous one that James McAvoy is wearing in the first episode of His Dark Materials: https://www.primetimer.com/features/we-dont-deserve-salt-and-pepper-james-mcavoy-in-his-dark-materials. Anyone know of a pattern for something similar?
Have a look at Brownstone, it may be a good base : https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/brownstone
Thank you! Just need to recalculate for ribbing. . . .
Thank you Karen for this wonderful treat! The film about Japanese denim inspires me to value what is truly beautiful in the things we wear.
I live in Nova Scotia where they filmed the Lighthouse! Let me tell ya, they both wore some delightful knits to the neighbourhood bar after shooting too. That article was a delight.
Lilly! Tell me more. Is Robert Pattison handsome in person or no? Are they good tippers?
Thank you for these wonderful links – I really love 💕 the Japanese denim video.
I loved the video about Japanese denim weaving! Then I did a little bit of research on Zimbabwe cotton production and I found a reliance on pesticide use that was contaminating water and air and is a health and environmental danger. Sigh.
(After watching The True Cost last night, it’s changed how I view textile production….)
