Oh hey, guess what — there’s fabulous new stuff today at Fringe Supply Co.! My old favorite Vietnamese rice baskets — in multiple sizes and colors — and my new favorite yarn, a marlicious, aran-weight, wool-cotton blend in super charming colors from Imperial Yarn. The moment I laid eyes on it at the trade show, I knew I had to have it. (I already cast on a pair of Super Simple Mitts for myself, seen in the littlest basket, above.) I hope you’ll feel the same way as I do! Let me know what you think.
Also, all of the Fringe Supply Co. tote bags and stitch markers can now be found at Fibre Space in Alexandria VA and at My Sister Knits in Fort Collins CO. Do stop in if you’re in the neighborhood.
Speaking of charming, if you’ve got a few minutes to kill, check out One Sheepish Girl’s Q&A with the Pom Pom Quarterly team. Note that I still have a few copies of Pom Pom 5 in the shop, as well as the ice cream issue of Kinfolk. (The Japan issue sold out.)
Thanks for all the great conversation this week, everyone — have a great weekend!

Hi Karen!
Stopped at My Sister Knits yesterday and saw the lovely display of your goods. Walked in the door and got the biggest smile when I immediately spotted your canvas totes. Then on to Fancy Tiger Crafts and same thing…big smile when I spotted your tote there as well. Made me want to shout, ” I know Karen!”…I refrained.
That’s so fun! Are you hitting every yarn shop on your route?
Uh oh. I predict more ordering.
That yarn! Those mitts will be perfect, Karen.
