I’m back! (Sort of.)

Hi, everyone. I’m back from my short trip to the ’burbs of KC, complete with beautiful one-day field trip to The Real Kansas. While in KC, I got to celebrate my brother’s wedding, Father’s Day and my sister’s birthday. I also got to see hoards of cousins, aunts and uncles, all of my darling nieces and nephews at once, and the world’s smallest and oddest baby lamb. It was a wonderful whirlwind of a trip. And no, I did not get much knitting done.

I’ve been back in CA for two days, just in time to turn around and head to TNNA (the yarn industry’s trade show) this weekend. It’s so strange that less than two years ago, I didn’t know how to knit. And now I’m a person who goes to the yarn industry’s trade show. But my guiding principle in life is to let it be strange — you have no idea where it might take you. And this has been a really delightful turn of events, this blog and Fringe Supply Co. and all of you here reading these words.

We’ll be back to our regularly scheduled programming next week, and hopefully I’ll have fun things to report from TNNA. But I want to let you know that the Fringe Supply totes are now available at Do Ewe Knit in Westfield NJ and at Fancy Tiger Crafts in Denver CO. If you’re in either neighborhood, do stop by and acquire one for yourself! I’ll have more stores to announce soon-like.

Also, a big quick thanks to L at From the Purl Side for including me in her list of favorite knitting blogs. It’s truly an honor when people like what I’m doing well enough to tell others about it. And there are several on that list that are new to me, so I look forward to checking them out!

See you next week!
