I KNOW. But I really can’t get enough of fringed shawls these days. Especially since they’re sort of the perfect transitional piece as we head into fall — great now on their own (indoors or out), and later over a jacket. Some good ’uns:
– Oana Shawl designed by Kirsten Kapur (the incredible cocoa-brown version shown here was knitted by G-Knits)
– Sidewalk Shawl (crochet) designed by Kimberly K. McAlindin
– Beeton Shawl designed by Derya Davenport of Laylock, where she posted the “haunting tale” of this shawl’s fruition
I also love CarmineZuigiber’s sunny yellow shawl, which is a pattern called Nancy & Judy with fringe added.
